Warranty
So what is a warranty worth? Well, unless you're paying Pinball Heaven prices and can expect an 'in home' repair service, a warranty is something that's possibly not as much use as you'd hope. Many sellers (including us) are only able to offer a warranty where the machine will be repaired back at the workshop.
Pinball machines can and DO go wrong. You could spend £350 on a machine or you coud spend £3500 on a machine. Anybody who claims their machines don't go wrong because they've done XYZ is talking out of their backside. You're firing heavy steel balls around a wooden and plastic playfield and using technology that's years out of date. Most stuff is easy to fix and with a basic idea of how the things work you'll be fine. Many faults can be fixed with a phone call or an email, but it's possible one day you'll need a circuit board repair. So what do you do? Well, you can either take out the circuit board (we can talk you through this) and send it for repair or bring the machine to us. We don't want to scare you off because owning a pinball is an amazing experience, but they are not fool-proof and to some people, 'tinkering' becomes as much of the fun as playing them!
For 3 months after you buy a machine we'll repair anything that goes wrong (except from mis-use) back at our HQ. In reality we'll always look after you in the event something goes wrong. Just make sure you're happy to part with a crate of beer for our time :o) and cover the cost of any parts needed
